I am currently interested in, and writing conference papers on, conceptions of how change occurs in ethics; conceptions of how survival influences ethics; different conceptions of excellence in both ethics and doing philosophy generally; how Nietzsche's conception of semiotics influences his approach to genealogy, and how Nietzsche's conception of symptomology interrupts his use of narrative, in comparison and contrast to, the narrative structure of Plato's "Symposium".
