I began teaching philosophy at Drexel in 1981, and I have taught continuously at Drexel since 1985. Areas of current interest include Kant and German Idealism, Contemporary Analytic Philosophy, Aesthetics, and Philosophy of Time. Courses I have taught at Drexel include Aesthetics, Introduction to Philosophy, Critical Reasoning, Philosophy of Science, and Social and Political Philosophy. I have recently designed and taught Philosophy of Time, as a Special Topic. Philosophy of Time is expected to become a regular course offering in the Philosophy program at Drexel. I also serve as the Associate Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia, where I was head of the Parkway Central Library, and head of the Education, Philosophy and Religion Department, prior to my appointment as Associate Director.
