Michelle McCloskey was recently chosen as a recipient of the Critical Language Scholarship Program for Turkish Study in Ankara, Turkey during summer 2011.

A program of the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program will offer intensive summer language training overseas in thirteen critical need foreign languages for summer 2011. The CLS Program is part of a U.S. government effort to drastically increase the number of Americans studying and mastering critical need foreign languages. Michelle McCloskey, a second-year Drexel MSPP student, will be studying Turkish in Ankara, Turkey during the summer of 2011 as a CLS program recipient.
