Psychology Students Receive Prestigious Awards and Grants

  • Kristin Salber (mentor = A. Nezu) was awarded a grant ($17,796) from the Cooper Foundation to support her dissertation work on the topic “Experiential Avoidance and Distress in Breast Cancer Patients”
  • Preeti Sunderraman (mentor = Schultheis) was awarded a grant ($745) from the Council on Brain Injury in support of her dissertation work on financial decision making in people with traumatic brain injury
  • Aime Hildenbrand (mentor = Daly) received the Drexel Office of Graduate Studies 2013 Research Award.
  • Stephanie Holliday (mentor = Heilbrun) and Chelsea Morse (mentor = Schultheis) each received a high commendation by the Office of Graduate Studies for her dissertation and related research
  • Janna Howard (undergraduate student, mentor = Lowe) was offered a position as a summer research fellow with the UNC Center of Excellence for Eating Disorders Summer Research Fellowship Program.
