Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution-Screening and Discussion

The Center for Interdisciplinary Studies, the Department of History, and the CHNP Board of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion present A Screening and Discussion of Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution, a 2021 Academy Award Nominated Documentary and 2020 Sundance Film Festival Winner of the Audience Award for U.S. Documentary with Susan Schweik, Ph.D.
 
Susan Schweik, a Disability Studies scholar played an advisory role in the early stages of the making of Crip Camp. In her discussion, she examines the importance, production, and reception of the documentary--including its remarkable achievements, and the stories that didn't make it to the screen.
