"The Adventures of Kid Quixote"

Tuesday, February 19, 2019

4:00 PM-5:30 PM

Led by activist and educator Stephen Haff, "The Adventures of Kid Quixote" — a student play — is an adaptation of the original "Don Quixote" translated and performed by the Latina/o students of Still Waters in a Storm (Brooklyn, NY). The students retell and perform "Don Quixote" as their own, reimagining the story of an old man in Spain in the late 1500s as a story of Latina/o children living in Brooklyn today.

Co-sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Departments of Global Studies and Modern Languages, English and Philosophy, Sociology, and History.
