Recruiting Volunteers for a Research Study

Research Objective
The Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences invites you to participate in a study which involves a single two-hour session. Eligible participants will either walk and march, or run short distances in the Gait Laboratory, on a treadmill and outside while impact shock from the foot contacting the ground is measured. 

Who is eligible?

  • You must be between 18 and 45 years of age, healthy, currently injury free and willing and able to either walk and march or run, both indoors and outside.
  • For runners - run at least 10 miles a week for a year or more.

Study Visits and Compensation
For participating and completing the entire study, you will receive $30 plus parking reimbursement up to $25.
