When Will These Sessions Be Held?

Consultations will be held daily with evening hours offered. Students, faculty, staff and community members are all welcome to register.

What Can I Expect at My First Meeting With the RD?

The first meeting with the RD will last approximately one hour. It will begin with a complete nutrition and medical history, including an assessment of body composition. A realistic plan will be created based on individualized goals and lifestyles. Follow up sessions are recommended and will last approximately 30 minutes.

Is Nutrition Counseling Only for Those Who Want to Lose Weight?

Not at all. Registered dietitians can help with any dietary concerns including management of chronic diseases, guidance navigating food allergies, sensitivities and intolerances, and strategies to improve athletic performance.

Sessions will be conducted at our nutrition office located at Three Parkway, 1601 Cherry Street, third floor, or at the Drexel University Recreation Center, 3301 Market Street.
