Volpe Selected to Serve on International Life Sciences Institute Board

Stella Volpe, PhD, professor and Chair of the Nutrition Sciences Department, was selected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the North American branch of the International Life Sciences Institute (ILSI North America). ILSI North America is a nonprofit foundation based in Washington, D.C., playing an important catalytic role in identifying and addressing scientific questions on nutritional quality, food safety, and risk assessment. Through programs that are of mutual interest to academia, government, and industry, ILSI North America helps resolve scientific issues for the benefit of the general public. The Board term of service is three years.
