Congratulations to Professors Nyree Dardarian and Beth Leonberg of the Nutrition Sciences Department, who were both appointed as Program Reviewers for the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND). They will serve on the Council for a three year term, between 2013 and 2016. In this role, Professors Leonberg and Dardarian will be asked to review other dietetic programs. “Not only is it impressive that they were selected; it is also impressive that ACEND appointed two individuals from the same university,” said Dr. Stella Volpe, Chair of the Nutrition Sciences Department.
