Chiarello Promoted to Full Professor

Congratulations to Lisa Chiarello, PhD, who has earned promotion to full professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences.
Chiarello is an outstanding researcher, teacher, and mentor and her commitment to citizenship and service is exemplary. She has been an investigator or co-investigator on 9 funded grants, has developed 16 courses, and serves as a reviewer or editorial board member for 7 scholarly journals. Chiarello has been recognized with the following awards:
The Research Award from the Section on Pediatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association
The CNHP Faculty Teaching Innovation Award (2005)
Bud DeHaven Award for Outstanding Service to the Section on Pediatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association
Chiarello said that she is “humbled and honored to have impacted the lives of children and their families, foster the field of pediatric physical therapy and supported my university and community.”
