Barbara Posmontier, PhD, an assistant professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Department, was quoted by Sanjay Gupta, MD, in his article, “How Support, Coping Skills, Can Reduce Postpartum Depression Risk,” On everydayhealth.com. In the article, Posmontier emphasized that Postpartum Depression is treatable through “counseling, medication, or a combination of both.”
