On October 9, Rose Ann DiMaria-Ghalili, PhD, will be speaking with Dr. Jane White at the Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo (FNCE) at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. During her presentation, “RD/RN Teams: A Collaborative Approach to Sustained Recovery,” DiMaria-Ghalili will describe the common evolution of RD/RN roles in the provision of nutritional care, identify and seize opportunities to collaborate in the development of cost effective strategies to screen, assess, and treat adult malnutrition, and recognize the mutually inclusive roles of the RD/RN in transitional care plan development and implementation to help sustain improved nutritional status post-discharge.

The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' annual meeting is the premier event for food and nutrition professionals with over 8,000 registered dietitians, nutrition science researchers, policy makers, health-care providers and industry professionals attending each year. Drexel plans to host an event for Nutrition Sciences alumni in conjunction with the meeting on Monday, October 8, at the Reading Terminal Market.
