Professor Deanna Schaffer was appointed Chair of the BSN Co-op Program after an extensive search process. Effective immediately, Professor Schaffer will carry out the responsibilities of this role with the support of Paula Marques, the BSN Co-op Program Coordinator. Professor Schaffer is an alumna of the College (where she received her ADN, BSN, and MSN as a Clinical Specialist in Adult Health) and is currently a doctoral candidate in the PhD Nursing Education Program at Widener University. Faye Meloy, PhD, Associate Dean for Pre License Nursing Programs, said, “Professor Schaffer has been a valued member of the nursing faculty at Drexel since 2002 in both clinical adjunct and full-time teaching roles. Please join me in congratulating her and offering support as she transitions to the new role.”
