International Dance/Movement Therapy Expert Bonnie Meekums Visits Drexel for a Workshop July 27, 2011 On July 26, 2011 over 40 people attended a workshop given by Bonnie Meekums, PhD, entitled “Working Safely with Embodiment”. Meekums is an internationally acclaimed author, researcher and educator in dance/movement psychotherapy, faculty member at the University of Leeds, Honorary Fellow of the Association for Dance/Movement Therapy/United Kingdom, and co-editor of the British Journal of Guidance and Counseling. The Drexel DMT MA program and the PA Chapter of the ADTA co-sponsored the workshop.
