Drexel Faculty Vincent Zarro Earns Grant for Chinatown Clinic

Dr. Zarro with patientThe Chinatown Clinic has received a $29,250 grant from the Pennsylvania State Department of Public Welfare. Vincent J. Zarro, MD, PhD, clincial assistant professor of the College of Nursing and Health Professions Department of Health Sciences, associate professor of the College of Medicine and the medical director of the Chinatown Clinic, applied for the grant under the auspices of the Pennsylvania Independent Free Clinics Special Grant Program. The majority of the funding will be used to convert to electronic medical records at the clinic by providing all necessary equipment and supplies for accessing Allscripts.
