Joke Bradt will be a guest on Science Friday on NPR

Joke Bradt, PhD, associate professor in the department of Creative Arts Therapies in the College of Nursing and Health Professions, will be a guest on Science Friday on NPR on Friday, December 16 from 2-3 p.m. in a full hour devoted to the subject of music therapy. Bradt, a music therapist, has published five comprehensive Cochrane review articles evaluating the evidence for the benefits of music therapy for patients with cancer, using mechanical ventilators, and other medical conditions. On Science Friday, she will be interviewed along with renowned author and neurologist Oliver Sacks, and two other music therapists, Connie Tomaino, PhD, and Andrew Rossetti.
