Jamie Teufel, EMT-P, EMS-I, is the program director for the EMS Training Center. He is also the Drexel University Training Center coordinator for the American Heart Association.
Having been with the university since 2012, he started his employment as a simulation educator and training center instructor. Teufel was an educator for the Paramedic Program at the Pennsylvania College of Applied Science in Lancaster, PA and he is currently an educator for the Delaware County Community College Paramedic Program. During his clinical career as a paramedic, he was also was a hyperbaric dive technician at Penn Hyperbaric Medicine and Hahnemann University Hospital.
He has presented workshops in the College of Medicine in airway management, electrical defibrillation therapy, mass casualty education, simulation development and education.
He continues to be an educator and evaluator for paramedics and EMT’s on the state and national levels.
