Suzan Blacher, PhD, is an associate clinical professor in the RN-BSN Completion program. She has over 30 years of clinical practice spanning addiction, home health care, critical care, GI and med-surg nursing. She has a certificate in Nursing Education and a certificate in Complementary Integrative Therapies, both from Drexel University, as well as a certificate in Clinical Nursing Education from the University of Miami. She has worked as a unit-level nurse educator, staff development educator and clinical nursing faculty. She is a past president of the Addiction Nursing Certification Board (ANCB) and a trustee for the Foundation of Addictions Nursing. She is a certified addiction nurse (CARN).
