Clinical Skills Labs
Designed to develop expert health care clinicians, the Clinical Skills Labs are a supportive, deliberate practice model of learning with dedicated faculty, intended to develop foundational skills in physical examination, procedures and medication administration. Learners gain competency in core skills to promote health equity for all people.
CICSP supports:
- A simulated apartment
- 2 fully equipped operating rooms
- 14 standardized patient rooms
- 6 fully immersive simulation rooms for any acute care hospital setting
- 2 large flex spaces that can be designed to support complex events, like disaster simulation or skills training
- 30 bed clinical skills laboratory
- 18 bed health assessment lab
