Alumni Services, Events, and Opportunities

College of Computing & Informatics (CCI) alumni are comprised from a range of disciplines including Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Computing & Security Technology, Human Computer Interaction & User Experience, Library & Information Science, and others. CCI is proud to bring together alumni representing the full breadth of our current program offerings.

We are excited to find creative new ways to engage with our alumni and to incorporate your expertise into the broader CCI experience for today's students. In addition, it is our goal to provide CCI alumni with opportunities for professional growth through social events, networking opportunities and increased awareness of the interesting and diverse work being done by alumni from across the represented disciplines.

Alumni Services

CCI alumni are encouraged to connect with the Drexel University Alumni Association and Steinbright Career Development Center, which both offer a full-range of workshops, seminars, networking events, career counseling and online resources to help you excel in your career.

Faculty

Faculty members are available to consult with and talk to your organization; individual faculty members should be contacted directly. Some provide talks at no fee; in other cases, a fee would be agreed on in advance.

CCI Undergraduate and Graduate Courses

Graduate alumni who wish to take selected courses, pursue a second CCI graduate degree, or enroll in one of our Continuing Education programs should contact our Recruitment team at 215.895.2474 or at cciinfo@drexel.edu. Through alumni groups, you can stay connected to fellow graduates who share your interests, background and experiences. The different types of groups listed below allow you to get involved in a way that is most meaningful to you:

Honor Societies

Beta Phi Mu Sigma Chapter

Beta Phi Mu is the international honor society that recognizes and promotes scholastic achievement in library and information science and information technology. The Sigma Chapter represents Beta Phi Mu members for the College of Computing & Informatics at Drexel University. Membership in Beta Phi Mu is extended by invitation only. Invitations are extended only to individuals who complete the requirements for a master's degree in the top 25 percent of any given graduating class. Drexel University Chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon

Upsilon Pi Epsilon is the International Honor Society for the Computing and Information Disciplines. It was founded for those students and faculty who exhibit superior scholastic and professional achievement in the computing science curriculum and remains the National Honor Society for the computing sciences, recognized by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and IEEE Computer Society.
