Online Learning Resources
Please be sure that you have read the Computer Requirements page.
Drexel Learn (Drexel's Blackboard Learn environment) is used for both Online and On-Campus classes. As a CCI graduate student, it is likely that you will need to take an online course. Experienced faculty, quality curriculum and use of technology make our online classes engaging.
New students will have access to the site using their DrexelConnect user ID and password within a day or two of activating their DrexelOne account. Courses open on Drexel Learn at 12:01 a.m. (EST) the day classes begin.
Please view some Drexel Learn tutorials to get a feel for how the platform works. Tech support for Drexel Learn is available to all users.
Online Learning Expectations
Learning online does not mean that you won't interact with your classmates or professor. In fact, CCI faculty create courses that require participation so you not only learn from completing the coursework, but also from each other through discussions. Instructors are available to be contacted via phone or email with any concerns and questions or to simply discuss topics within the class.
Taking courses online can be very different from being in the classroom. It is therefore important that all students know and understand proper skills and professional behaviors on how to succeed in an online teaching environment. Please review the Online Survival Skills and Professional Behaviors for College of Computing & Informatics Graduate Students [pdf] prior to beginning your coursework.
