Career Networking Events
CCI hosts Career Networking Events in the spring and fall, providing a unique opportunity for CCI students and industry leaders to engage and network. Taking place in the evening following the Drexel University Steinbright Career Development Center's University-wide Career Fairs, this tech-focused event provides a relaxed atmosphere for CCI students and Corporate Partners to enjoy exclusive, personal engagement around co-ops and other professional opportunities.
Professional Development and Industry Engagement
Our Corporate Partners lead Lunch and Learn and Industry Showcase sessions that focus on corporate culture, tech innovations, and professional development topics that help students prepare themselves for co-ops, interviews, and other professional opportunities. Recent topics have included building a personal brand, leveraging a professional network, how to write algorithms like a professional, and tips and tricks for digital interviews. Stay tuned for the next event!
Last November, CCI hosted a faculty-moderated panel discussion featuring a broad range of panelists offering unique insights and perspectives on career development and industries, technology in society, diversity and inclusion, and other topics of interest to the CCI community. Panelists will include: Nicholas W. University 101 Site Visits and Panels
University 101 is a course designed to help freshman and transfer students with the transition to college, Drexel University, and the City of Philadelphia. Students in each section of the class participate in discussions with panelists from our Corporate Partners. Class sections also attend site visits to company headquarters where they have the opportunity to network and experience the corporate cultures of some of our Corporate Partners firsthand.
