CCI Assistant Research Professor and Director of National Security Programs, Norm Balchunas, Col, USAF (Ret) received a 2015 Veteran of Influence award from Philadelphia Business Journal. In their inaugural Veterans of Influence awards, the Philadelphia Business Journal is honoring 20 local veterans who owned their transition from a military to civilian life, and capitalized on their unique skills to advance their careers.
Balchunas, who will be honored with other winners at an awards breakfast on March 19 at the Union League, was recognized for his work within the community and as operations director for Drexel's Applied Informatics Group and the A.J. Drexel Cybersecurity Institute.
