Lunch & Learn: "AI for Real" with Jerry Overton (Graduating Seniors Only): January 23, 11 to 1 p.m. - UC Science Center, 3675 Market, Quorum 4A

 

How do professional data scientists write algorithms? It’s not exactly like you see on TV... In this special event, we’ll develop a working AI and show students, first hand, how to write algorithms like a pro. The interactive session is equal parts hackathon, presentation, and group participation. This session is open to all CCI seniors and recent graduates, and students will benefit most if they:

• Are familiar with R
• Are familiar with GitHub
• Bring a laptop installed with RStudio and a working Wi-Fi connection
