Major: BS Computing & Security Technology

Year: Junior

Hometown: Philadelphia, PA

I chose this major because…: Since I was a child I have always loved computers, and technology and would build machines for fun. I always liked challenges and problems, and figuring out the solutions.

Favorite course(s): CS103 Computing and Informatics Design III because the professor really helped me understand what data science was, and we were able to mine and scrape data. Info 152 Web Systems and Services II because the professor made things clear and understandable, I was able to see how PHP and HTTP work together on a website.

Co-ops I’ve done: I am on my first co-op working at SAP as an intern Networking Engineer.

Favorite thing/place at Drexel: W.W. Hagerty Library because they have quiet rooms, and Rush Gardens because it’s peaceful.

When I’m not at Drexel, I’m…: Spending time in Old City learning about Philadelphia history. Or I am working with routers and switches and bettering my skills.

When you are in Philadelphia, I think you should…: Visit the Liberty Bell, because tells a powerful story about America’s history.

Advice to new/incoming CCI students: Don’t be afraid or too prideful to ask questions and use the resources that are at Drexel.

What is your dream job? My dream job is to work for a Fortune 500 company as a Security or Networking Engineer.

Favorite animated character: The dad from the Jetsons because he had the coolest job ever.

I’m an Army veteran, father of three and a Philadelphia native. I live my life off of principles and standards that consist of hard work, discipline, and integrity. I love helping people and want what’s best for our next generation of leaders.
