Drexel University's College of Computing and Informatics invites applications for multiple full-time teaching faculty positions in the Computer Science Department and the Information Science Department. Areas of interest include Security and Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Library and Information Science, Digital Content Management, Human Computer Interaction and Data Science.
Candidates should have an MS degree or higher in a related subject area; relevant industry experience is also desirable. Candidates will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels and to serve as curricular leaders in their primary area. Excellence in teaching and teaching innovation and dedication to working with students is essential. Interest in course and curriculum development and online teaching desired.
The College of Computing and Informatics is located in a brand new building with state-of-the-art classrooms, research and student labs, and abundant space to promote collaboration and innovation. The College and Department are foremost leaders in educating computing and information professionals, combining high-quality teaching and research in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment. The College offers a variety of BS, MS, and PhD degrees spanning all areas of computing and informatics, including new MS degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, and Information with majors in Library and Information Science, Digital Content Management and Human Computer Interaction/User Experience.
