Biography

Aleksandra Sarcevic, PhD is a professor in the Department of Information Science in Drexel University's College of Computing & Informatics (CCI). Her research areas of interest include computer-supported cooperative work, human computer interaction, and healthcare informatics. She has particular interest in understanding how individuals within large co-located teams in high-risk environments interact and communicate while solving problems. Dr. Sarcevic's past work has focused on understanding collaboration, teamwork errors, and information behavior of trauma teams while treating severely injured patients immediately after injury.
