Department DragonDollars Cards Discontinued Effective June 30
Drexel Business Services discontinued DragonDollars department cards effective June 30, 2019. The decision to discontinue department cards was based on the changing needs for how goods and services are procured and purchased.
The following Frequently Asked Questions and Answers are provided to help departments through this change.
How will I pay for goods/services that I once used my DragonDollars department card for?
Departments may use a Purchasing Card (P-Card) to purchase goods and services for business use.

How will I receive my DragonDollars department refund?
Business Services will automatically begin the funds transfer process for any department card that has a balance after June 30, 2019.
Departments may check Web Finance for the refund. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to be applied to department cost centers.
How will I be notified my refund was processed?
Departments must check Web Finance directly.
If a department believes a refund is due and their Web Finance is not reflecting the refund by Friday, July 19, 2019, please contact the DragonCard Office at 215.895.6095, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or email@example.com.
Where can I find my balance?
There is a DragonDollars load station available outside the DragonCard Office located in the Creese Student Center on the University City Campus that you may use to check your balance.

How will I pay for meals at the University Club?
P-Cards and credit cards will be accepted when the University Club reopens in Fall 2019; the University Club will close June 14, 2019 for the summer. For more information, contact Drexel Campus Dining at 215.895.6095 or email@example.com.
Will my personal DragonDollars balance be impacted?
No, the discontinuation of DragonDollars department cards does not affect other DragonDollars funds, like DragonDollars loaded onto an individual's DragonCard.
What should I do with my DragonDollars department card?
After June 30, DragonDollars department card owners may be shred and discard the card.
