Ian J. Berg Business Plan Competition

The Ian J. Berg Business Plan Competition is designed to help student entrepreneurs and their teams develop their business ideas, receive feedback and mentoring, and compete for cash prizes. It also provides opportunities for networking, brainstorming and development of future entrepreneurial opportunities.

Teams develop their ideas with guidance from business leaders who serve as mentors and judges. Additional assistance is provided through workshops held at the Baiada Institute as well as from faculty and staff at the Close School of Entrepreneurship.

How to Participate

Teams must register a team leader, list team members and enter all plan submissions through the competition website at http://bergbpc2015.istart.org. After initial site registration, you must submit at least your business concept summary in order to be fully registered and accepted into the competition.

Once the team registration is approved, all first and final round submissions will also take place through this website, which is hosted by the Kauffman Foundation and is their international platform for business plan competitions.

A team can consist of one person, or as many people as needed by the team. The team must designate a team leader, who must be a degree-candidate student at Drexel University.

What if you have an idea but no teammates, or don't have an idea but are interested in participating on a team? Here are some resources for you:
