AEROPEST

AeroPest is a technology startup that has developed an internationally patent-pending UAV technology, the first precision spraying system for wasps’ nests and other elevated pests that attaches to an aerial drone to prevent the unnecessary injury and death of pest control technicians from falls off ladders, lifts, and rooftops which also carries a cost per injury average of $26,119.

AeroPest is also developing AeroInspect: a mobile and web application that uses photos to generate the best ‘storytelling’ inspection reports for pest control technicians. AeroInspect transforms images of pests captured by phone or by an aerial drone during inspections into detailed colorful reports which increase the conversion rate of pest control prospective customers into paying customers.

About the founder:

Harrison Hertzberg nearly fell from the steep, second-story roof of his father’s home office building on a 98-degree summer day in Idaho after being tasked with spraying dozens of yellow jacket and hornet nests. He immediately began research to discover that current means of pest abatement in the pest control industry faced these exact same problems: worker injury liability due to use of dangerous ladders and roof climbers.
