Kenneth Munroe, MBA, MSOD, CPA

Executive Director, Financial and Administrative Services Team



Kenneth J. Munroe is the Executive Director, Financial and Administrative Services Team, at the AJ Drexel Autism Institute, having stepped into the role in April 2021. He is responsible for providing operational leadership to the Financial and Administrative Services Team, which manages all facets of finance and grants administration, human resources management and IT services for the institute.  As a member of the leadership team, he supports the director of the institute and other core leaders in the execution of the institute’s mission and strategy as well as its research, clinical and outreach initiatives.

Kenneth brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the areas of organizational strategy, process improvement, human capital management, and financial analysis and planning. He is also an advocate for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives as well as a proponent of leadership development and cross-cultural collaborations.  

Prior to joining AJDAI, Kenneth held senior management and leadership roles at Penn Medicine and Temple University in the areas of finance, operations and administration. Early in his career, Kenneth spent time in Australia where he worked in the financial services industry.

Kenneth holds a Master of Business Administration in accounting from Temple University’s Fox School of Business, a Master of Science in organization development & leadership from Saint Joseph’s University, and a Bachelor of Arts in sociology & anthropology from Swarthmore College.
