Q: What are you most looking forward to developing as part of the ACS program?
A: More creative and targeted programming that supports the personal and professional growth of our alumni – especially in online formats that allow alumni to connect from anywhere and can access later if unable to attend at the exact date and time of the event. Additionally, putting together more robust career support resources on our website is one of my top priorities to draw more people to our website on a regular basis.
Q: What is a career services program or resource that you don’t think many alumni know is available to them?
I don’t think enough alumni realize the many benefits to joining the Drexel Alumni Networking Group on LinkedIn and how many opportunities there are to get involved with the ACS Program. Alumni also have access to career resources offered through the Steinbright Career Development Center such as the Career Navigator Tool, the ability to meet with a career counselor, and the ability to post or seek jobs through Handshake. Lastly, although my primary responsibility is to develop and support career and professional development based programming, I am also a resource for alumni who want their résumé reviewed or seek other career related advice.
