Meet Arnie Kohen, M.Ed, Alumni Career Counselor

Arnie Kohen is a career counselor and coach with extensive experience supporting students and alumni of various careers and professions. He joined the Office of Alumni Relations part-time in February 2021.

Arnie has worked at Drexel University as a senior career counselor for more than 20 years and possesses a master of education in counseling psychology, along with MBTI and counselor certifications. He is skilled in educational planning, including the Strong Interest Inventory and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator assessments, resume critique, interview behavior, networking techniques, job search resources, and career assessment and interpretation.

Arnie is excited to work with alumni on all aspects of the career development process and job search strategies.

Meet Lauren Karch, MS ’15, Associate Director of Professional Networks and Career Development

Lauren Karch joined the Office of Alumni Relations in January 2019 to lead the Alumni Career Services (ACS) program. Lauren has worked at Drexel since 2013 and is a two-time alumna, completing a master’s degree in higher education administration and post-master’s certificate in business leadership at Drexel.

Lauren collaborates with internal and external partners to build programs, events and volunteer activities that promote alumni leadership and advocacy. She enjoys engaging alumni and providing resources that support their personal and professional growth. Lauren is most proud of leveraging alliances across campus and within corporate networks to strengthen Drexel Alumni connections.
