Fall 2020 Banner Upgrade Notes

Following the upgrades on November 22nd 2020, there are several changes for faculty to note in Faculty Grade Entry:

 

  • Excel Spreadsheet Import Tool

    • Users who upload grades to Faculty Grade Entry using an excel template are unable to download a validation report that list individual errors. As a result, the instructor will need to review the roster once an upload is completed to search for grades that were not successfully uploaded.
  • Usability Issues
    • Users may not be able to access the student roster for a selected course in Faculty Grade Entry when the browser window is not set to full screen.
    • Some users have reported difficulty scrolling through the student roster in Faculty Grade Entry while using an Android or iOS device
