As an institution dedicated to helping aspiring learners throughout the Philadelphia area, Drexel is focused on supporting students currently enrolled at Cabrini University as they consider the next step in their educational careers. Although this may be a challenging time of transition, we are committed to providing opportunities for Cabrini students through a streamlined transfer process that will allow you to stay on track and finish your degree as a Drexel Dragon. As part of this initiative, we have also developed additional options to support Cabrini incoming first-year students.

Join a New Community of Learners at Drexel
Drexel offers over 100 undergraduate majors and as many minors, each infused with a commitment to interdisciplinary learning that allows students like you to grow in the areas that speak to their individual interests. Stretching far beyond the typical classroom experience, a Drexel education includes our renowned cooperative education program, which allows students to gain up to 18 months of résumé-building work experience, and a vibrant and active student life, which centers around over 300 student clubs and organizations and more than 70 spiritual/religious and identity-based organizations.
Special Financial Aid Opportunities For Cabrini Transfer Students
Students transferring from Cabrini will receive a renewable 50% tuition reduction as they work to complete their degrees at Drexel, and all application fees will be waived (first-year students are not eligible for this 50% tuition discount).
Students coming from Cabrini may also be eligible to be considered for a variety of federal and state aid options.
Cabrini-Drexel Pathway Enrollment Criteria:
- Available to undergraduate students who are/were enrolled at Cabrini beginning spring semester 2023 through fall 2024
- Students must apply and meet admissions requirements and standards at Drexel University
- If admitted, students must maintain full-time enrollment at Drexel to retain the Cabrini-Drexel Pathway tuition reduction
A Dragon to Help You With a Smooth Transition to Drexel
Drexel will offer a dedicated transfer counselor who will work with you one-to-one to guide you through your transition. They will also explain our credit evaluation process and how the courses you have completed at Cabrini will correspond to credits toward your degree as a Dragon. Drexel will be offering specialized informal credit evaluations for all Cabrini applicants.
In addition, your counselor will include a review of our application instructions to learn more about how to apply, along with all of the criteria our transfer admissions representatives take into consideration when reviewing your application. Drexel's standard admissions requirements will apply.

Are You an Incoming First-Year Student Looking to Start at Drexel?
If you were admitted as a first-year student to Cabrini University but are interested in beginning your collegiate career at Drexel, we invite you to apply for our Winter Entry Program.
Winter Entry students begin in Drexel's winter quarter (January 2024), providing the opportunity to fully plan and prepare for your transition. Through our Winter Entry Program, you will receive the same educational experience as your classmates who started in the previous fall, including the opportunity to participate in our signature cooperative education program, which allows you to gain up to 18 months of résumé-building work experience before graduation. The application for Winter Entry will become available on August 1.

Financial Aid Opportunities For Cabrini First-Year Students
While incoming first-year students are not eligible for the Cabrini-Drexel Pathway tuition discount, students coming from Cabrini are eligible to be considered for a variety of financial aid options, including merit-based scholarships, loans, and grants.
