Public Safety Advisory - Purse Snatch on 31st and Market Streets

A purse was snatched from a female at 31st and Market Streets by two black males who fled west on Market Street and south on 34th Street towards Walnut Street.

Police were on the scene. The victim was not affiliated with the University. The investigation is ongoing. Take appropriate caution when walking on or around the University City Campus and report suspicious activity immediately to the Philadelphia Police Department by dialing 911 or Drexel Police at 215-895-2222.

Strong Arm Robbery 3500 Block of Filbert Street. Five black males wearing grey and blue hoodies assaulted and robbed a Drexel student. No weapons. Suspects fled in a white Ford Crown Victoria south on 34th Street from Filbert Street. Male student being treated for minor injuries. Police on scene.
