Off-Campus Access
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
Cisco VPN (Virtual Private Network) software, AnyConnect, provides secure off-campus access to restricted computing resources at Drexel such as network file servers and restricted Web pages.
System Requirements for Installing AnyConnect VPN Client
Because IRT only offers end-user support for the Windows and Mac platforms, clients for alternate platforms, while available, are considered "unsupported". It is expected that users opting to run alternative operating systems are familiar enough with their respective systems/platforms to be self-supporting. Cisco AnyConnect supports a variety of operating systems.
- Tested web browsers: Internet Explorer 7 (32-bit), Internet Explorer 8 (32-bit), Firefox 3.6.2 and up, and Safari 4.0.5 and up. AnyConnect may work on some versions of Chrome and Opera, but we strongly advise using a recommended browser. 64-bit versions of Internet Explorer are not currently supported.
Installing and Using the AnyConnect VPN Client
