Highlights
Presented by the Lindy Center for Civic Engagement, Drexel’s CIVC 101 course provides undergraduate students the opportunity to collaborate with neighborhood organizations and nonprofits and learn first-hand how to create impactful social change.
Located in the heart of West Philadelphia, this community-based resource center serves as a collaborative hub for Drexel students, faculty, and professional staff; local residents; and community stakeholders focused on supporting the health, wellness, and stability of our surrounding neighborhoods.
Working in partnership with the School District of Philadelphia and other local philanthropic leaders, Drexel helped to provide the resources needed to open a new school building serving K-8 students of Samuel Powel Elementary School and the Science Leadership Academy Middle School (SLAMS).
Drexel provides a wide variety of programs, resources, and opportunities in support of civic engagement and community development for all members of our extended community.
