I. Policy

Effective immediately, the only place where any legal papers can be served is the Office of the General Counsel, The Left Bank, 3180 Chestnut Street, Suite 101. This applies to subpoenas, complaints, writs, court notices, and every other kind of legal process.

If any person is trying to serve legal process on the University or on any employee of the University, you must refuse to accept it and must refer the process server to the OGC. If legal process is received any other way (e.g., by mail or fax), you must deliver it immediately to OGC.

Any questions regarding services of process should be referred to the OGC at extension 1433.
