Dragonfly Wireless
There are Multiple Wireless Networks at Drexel.
The Drexel campus was first made wireless in 2000 with a network called DragonFly. Since then, the network has grown, increased available bandwidth, and become more secure.
DragonFly3
DragonFly3 is the University's preferred wireless network available to students, faculty, and staff with a current University User ID. In comparison to all the Drexel wireless networks DragonFly3 offers the greatest bandwidth and security, fewer restrictions, and relief from some competing radio interference. DragonFly3 is available for Windows, Mac OS X, iPhone, iPad, iPod and many other computers and smartphones. The DragonFly3 Installation Wizard makes configuration quick and easy.

DragonFly
Devices that do not support WPA2 and 8021.X user name authentication should connect to the legacy DragonFly network. Many Wi-Fi game consoles and cell phones cannot work with the security needed to access DragonFly3. Those devices, and computers having trouble connecting to dragonfly3, should connect to DragonFly. A current University User ID and device registration is necessary to use DragonFly.

DrexelGuest
The Drexel Guest Network is for the convenience of visitors and guests. The Guest Network offers basic web browsing and is limited to services that are publicly available.
