Backup Your Files

To help faculty, staff and students avoid an unfortunate loss of data and information, Drexel has partnered with Iron Mountian Digital to make backup and recovery services available to the Drexel Community.

Connected Backup/PC is an automatic, tamper-proof backup solution designed to backup and centralize distributed laptop and desktop data, restore data as recent as the last backup event, and defend against the consequences of virus attack by storing all captured data in one of Iron Mountian's secure off-site vaults (or on IRT servers for the Drexel-owned computer solution).

Connected Backup/PC operates transparently to users, administrators and infrastructure. Backups are user scheduled, and end-users can work uninterrupted as the service runs. Self-serve file recovery brings users back to productivity quickly and independent of any assistance.

The cost of the Connected Backup/PC service ranges from $29.95/year to $374.50/year depending on the amount of storage needed. Use the service on any PC and never lose important files again! And, you’ll do it all without having to buy, label, and store CDs, Zip disks, or other media.
