String Ensemble Music Ensembles
The Drexel String Orchestra is a chamber orchestra of violinists, violists, cellists, and bass players. The members of the group have the opportunity to further their individual and ensemble playing skills through weekly rehearsals and a concert performance each quarter. The orchestra's repertoire consists of many of the important compositions for string ensemble including works by Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Elgar, Grieg, and Corelli. Performance scholarships are available. Auditions for the Drexel Orchestra will be held during Accepted Students Weekends in March and April. Contact the conductor, Paul Bryan at pjb53@drexel.edu to learn more and to schedule your audition.
