Miami-based Eric Schoenborn is a digital artist, designer, and highly sought-after creative collaborator and entrepreneur. Blending art and technology in his independent design practice, he’s become an invaluable resource in helping to tell the stories of numerous nonprofits, startups, artists, musicians, journalism ventures, cultural tastemakers, misfits and innovators worldwide. On Wednesday, September 30 at 6:30pm in the URBN Annex Screening Room, the Rudman Institute for Entertainment Industries Studies will present his free-to-the-public lecture on harnessing the unique combination of design, development and business experience. Schoenborn is co-producer and partner of the acclaimed Pickathon Music Festival in Portland, Oregon, and previously served as Creative Director at the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and as Digital Communications Director at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). His work has appeared in publications such as Wired, Rolling Stone and The New York Times, and has been recognized by Sundance and South by Southwest (SXSW).

Eric has collaborated with organizations and independent artists around the world, including NikeSB, National Geographic, Forbes, Gates Foundation, Tumblr, Glenn Greenwald, The Wolfsonian-FIU Museum, The Avett Brothers, Students for a Free Tibet, Scripps Howard, John Kerry for President, and many others.
