Graphic Design Students to Exhibit Work in 2007 DesignPhiladelphia

Design Philadelphia DesignPhiladelphia will celebrate its third year with with more than 50 design activities all around the city, including studio tours, gallery openings, exhibitions, book signings, workshops and parties highlighting the fields of product design, architecture, fashion, landscape architecture, urban planning, textile design and graphic design.

This year, Westphal College?s Graphic Design program will represent Drexel University with an exhibition of undergraduate work based on this year?s theme, which is ?Reinvention: Circles, Squares and Grids?. The work will include three-dimensional design, book design, typographic studies,exhibit design and poster design, and has been selected from the sophomore, junior and senior classes.

There will be a Design Symposium on April 12, 2007 from 4 pm till 6 pm followed by the Student Exhibition Opening from 6 pm till 8 pm. The exhibition is free and open to the public. The show will be open April 12 and 13, from 9 am ? 5 pm at the Marketplace Design Center, 2400 Market Street, Lower Level, Philadelphia.
