Westphal College Proudly Presents Online Portfolio of Student Work
June 25, 2006
The unique and compelling creative work of many of the Westphal College's nearly 400 graduating seniors is now featured on our new Online Portfolio.
Students produced seven professional-quality shows at major galleries and venues throughout Philadelphia over the past two months. The Photography Show was on display throughout June at the prestigious Vox Populi gallery. Our new Westphal Online Portfolio features the standout work of all of graduating photographers such as Karen Maziarz's haunting portraits or Mark Diehl's contemporary landscapes.
The variety of original work at this Digital Media Senior Show was outstanding. View Seth Kendall, Patrick Kemp, Andy Michael, Joel Catalan, and Russell Falk?s award winning animation BLIGHT or follow the link to play the student-produced video game PROJECT BOLT.
Film & Video's Senior Show encompassed three sold-out nights of screenings. View Derik Washington's video WAKE UP and other student work.
Design & Merchandising's STYLE TRIBES 4.0 show opened at MYX Gallery in Old City, and will be on display there through July 25th. Fashion Design presented their annual fashion show twice at the Crystal Tearoom in the Wanamaker Building to huge crowds and standing ovations. You can see photos of students' award winning collections or better yet watch the entire show!
In the coming days, we'll be working hard to post more student work including the Graphic Design and Interior Design shows. All of our Senior Shows are open to the Drexel community and next year we hope you'll join us in person. In the meantime, the Westphal Online Portfolio is the next best thing to being there, and we hope you'll take a few minutes to see some of the work of our talented and hard-working students.
