All-College Choir with Brass and Wind Chamber Music

Performing Arts’ Blurb: The All College Choir and the Drexel Chamber winds are ensembles that serve Drexel students who want to continue their musical education without the need for an audition to join the ensembles.  The concert today serves as a culmination of the work the students have completed throughout the course of the term.

 

This term’s chamber music concert features a combination of established ensembles and newly-formed combinations.   It will be a treat for the audience to hear music by “the three B’s”: Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms; as well as 20th Century composers Gordon Jacob and Václav Nelhybel.  We will even have the premiere of an arrangement of Kanye West songs made by one of our own students!
