Joanne Frank Watkeys earned her B.S. in photography from Drexel University and her M.Ed. from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. She currently teaches at North Penn High School and Drexel University.
She has exhibited her work in many local and regional shows. She continues to take photographs, exploring relationships between people and nature. Although trained as a photographer, Joanne Watkeys also works in clay, and experiments with combining her photography with clay through photo silkscreening.
Joanne Watkeys brings to Drexel an enthusiasm for photography and a desire to challenge students to discover their own artistic vision.
