Film & Video

Today’s young filmmakers are leaving college at an exciting time. From the multi-billion dollar industry of Hollywood to the scrappy intimacy of independent film, there are more opportunities than ever to work in motion pictures.

However, the Film & Video program at Drexel University prepares students for more than a job. Our mission is to build long-term careers for the filmmakers we educate.

At Drexel, you will learn to respect the art, craft, and significant responsibility of storytelling. We will help you offer and accept criticism of your work and that of your peers. Through our faculty, guest speakers, and alumni network, Drexel will connect you to a community within the industry, both local and global. You will become a collaborator and life-long learner, ready to bring your own voice into the world.
