Kerri is the Training Director for Your Part-Time Controller (YPTC), a consulting firm that specializes in providing accounting services to nonprofit organizations, including many arts organizations in the greater Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York City, and Houston metropolitan areas. Not only does she enjoy keeping her staff of accounting professionals well-trained on all things "nonprofit," she also provides education and training to YPTC's clients and is a frequent guest speaker.
Kerri joined Drexel as an adjunct professor in the fall of 2009 to teach the financial accounting course. Her goal through the course is to provide arts administration students - as future arts leaders - with a basic knowledge of nonprofit accounting in order to reinforce the importance of good financial management and promote effective communication with accounting staff and auditors.
A Drexel alum, Kerri is a CPA with over 20 years of financial management experience, including tax research and forensic accounting. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Arizona State University, and a dual Masters of Science in Accounting and Taxation from Drexel.
